All of the billers listed on the Make an Emergency Payment page offer the emergency payments service.

Making an emergency payment by calling your biller is easy. All you need is the biller's customer service number, which you can find on the Make an Emergency Payment page.

Steps To make an emergency payment using the biller's customer service phone number:

  1. Go to the Make an Emergency Payment page.
  2. Find the biller that you would like to make an emergency payment to.
  3. Call the biller's customer service phone number and follow the phone instructions to make your emergency payment.
    Note: If there is no phone number listed for your biller, you need to make your emergency payment from the biller's website instead.
    Any emergency payments and their associated fees made by calling the biller's customer service phone number will not appear in your MyCheckFree.com payment history.

Making an Emergency Payment from the Biller's Website

Making an emergency payment through your biller's website is easy. All you need to do is click on the link to the biller's name, which you can find on the Make an Emergency Payment page.

Steps To make an emergency payment from the biller's website:

  1. Go to the Make an Emergency Payment page.
  2. Find the biller that you would like to make an emergency payment to.
  3. Click the link on the biller's name.
    Note: If there is no link on the biller's name, you need to make your emergency payment by calling the biller's customer service phone number instead.
    A pop-up window appears notifying you that you are leaving the MyCheckFree.com site and will be redirected to the biller's website.
  4. Click Continue.
    You are redirected to the biller's website where you can make your emergency payment.
    Note: Any emergency payments and their associated fees made from the biller's website will not appear in your MyCheckFree.com payment history.

Is there a fee for making an emergency payment?

It depends. Some billers may charge a fee for this service. The amount of the fee and if a fee is required is determined by the biller.

Do I need to sign in or enroll in MyCheckFree.com to make an emergency payment?

No. You can make an emergency payment in MyCheckFree.com without signing in or enrolling. To make an emergency payment without signing in or enrolling, click the Emergency Payments tab on the MyCheckFree.com sign-in page.

No. Any emergency payments and their associated fees will not appear in your MyCheckFree.com payment history. When you make an emergency payment, you are making it at a separate biller site or through the biller's customer service phone number.
