  3. Click View.
An E-bill details page opens. The details you see on this page come directly from your biller. In some cases, you'll need to go to your biller's Web site to see the details of your e-bill.
  4. When you are finished, click Close.

Filing an E-bill

If you would like to pay an e-bill by some means other than using MyCheckFree.com, you can file the e-bill. The e-bill's status changes from Unpaid to Filed. Filed e-bills remain in your e-bills list for reference. Filing lets you know the e-bill is no longer unpaid, but it was not paid through MyCheckFree.com.

Note: After you file an e-bill, you cannot pay it through MyCheckFree.com. However, you'll see it listed on your E-bills page and you can view the details of the e-bill. You can also make a payment to the biller before you receive your next e-bill, but the payment won't be associated with the e-bill that you filed.

Steps To file an E-bill:

  1. Go to E-bills.
    Your E-bills page opens.
  2. Find the e-bill you want to file.
  3. Click File.
A confirmation box opens asking if you want to file this e-bill.
  4. Click OK.
On the E-bills page, the e-bill's status changes to Filed.
