The payment date you type when making a payment is the date that we receive your payment.
Bank Account Payments
If you are scheduling a payment for a bank account, you can usually schedule the payment for the next day. If you schedule a payment before 5:00 P.M. ET today, you can select a payment date as early as tomorrow. If you schedule a payment after 5:00 P.M. ET, the earliest payment date you can select is the day after tomorrow.
If you want to send the payment on the same day you schedule it, select the check box indicating that you want to make a same-day payment.
Note: This check box only appears for those bills that can be paid on the same day. Information such as the payment cutoff time and any additional fees are also displayed if this choice is offered.
Note: If you type a payment date that falls on a weekend or holiday, we move the payment date to the previous business day. For example, if the payment date you type falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the payment date is moved to the previous Friday.
If you have any questions about when we receive a payment and credit your account, please contact us at the phone number listed on your bill.
